⏱️ Short-Term Holding Period 持有期限
Settlement lag models the days your money sits with no yield while waiting to clear — e.g., buying on a Thursday before a weekend, or a T+2 redemption window. It reduces your realized yield without changing the quoted rate.

How to Use This Calculator · 使用说明

  1. Choose your mode — Short-Term LiCai / Money Market (短期理财/货币基金) for a single fixed-maturity product, or Long-Term Compound Growth (长期复利积攒) for multi-year investing with regular monthly contributions.
  2. Enter your initial investment using the quick-select 万 (10k) buttons or typing an exact amount, and your expected annualized yield.
  3. For Short-Term mode: pick a holding period preset (7/30/60/90/180/365 days) or enter a custom number of days, choose your day-count base (365 for domestic RMB products, 360 for some foreign-style products), and drag the T+N settlement lag slider to see how unpaid clearance days quietly reduce your realized yield.
  4. For Long-Term mode: set your monthly contribution, investment duration in years, compounding frequency, and an inflation rate to see your maturity value in today's purchasing power.
  5. Read your results — total projected value, pure interest earned, daily income per ¥10,000 (万份收益), effective realized APY after settlement lag, and time to double your money (Rule of 72).
  6. Export — download a PDF summary or an Excel workbook with the full schedule.

Want the full explanation? What 7-Day Annualized Yield (七日年化) really means, why buying on the wrong day of the week can cost you three days of interest, 365-day vs. 360-day conventions, and the Rule of 72 shortcut are all covered in depth in our Wealth Management & Compound Interest Guide 2026.

This calculator provides estimates for general informational purposes only and is not financial or investment advice. Money market and LiCai yields shown as examples (e.g., ≈0.9% for money market funds, ≈1.8–2% for short-term bank wealth management products) are illustrative approximations of mid-2026 market conditions and fluctuate daily — wealth management products are not deposits, are not principal-guaranteed, and past yields never guarantee future returns (理财非存款,产品有风险,投资须谨慎). Always check the current published yield of your specific product before investing. Last updated: July 2026.
